Descale

How often, and with what

Ascaso recommends regular descaling, and says limescale deposits void the warranty. The manual names its Coffee Washer V.666, which it says is also for descaling, and gives the interval by how many coffees you make a day.

The manual has no step-by-step descaling method. Follow the directions on the Coffee Washer pack, or ask your dealer.

A retailer (the US retailer 1st-line, whose photos mostly show the older Dream) adds that scale in the gauge's thin tube needs a new gauge, and scale on the OPV can drain water from the steam side.
