Pump and three-way valve

Ascaso's warranty is void if the machine has been taken apart by anyone outside the Ascaso Official Technical Assistance Network, or if it has limescale deposits or has not been cleaned (the manual, section 9).

The pump is a CP4SP vibration pump (230 V: I.292; 120 V: I.2259) on rubber mounts, with a protection thermostat (I.493). 1st-line says to keep the two rubber supports near the middle of the pump and clear of the body, or it gets loud.

The three-way valve (230 V: I.259; 120 V: I.706) opens the water path while you brew. Its drain pipe runs to the tray, which is why a little water spurts there when a shot ends.

The OPV, which sets the brewing pressure, is covered under brew pressure.
