Steps marked "the manual" are from Ascaso's Dream PID / ONE manual, MAN.29 V10 (2022). It covers start-up, priming, brewing, steam, hot water, the display menu, stand-by, the weekly backflush, the shower head, descaling intervals, the lights table and a short troubleshooting table, and nothing with a tool except the OPV. Ascaso's warranty is void if the machine is taken apart outside its official network or has limescale. The manual contradicts itself on who should set the OPV (page 30 owner, page 38 technician); both are given.

Taking the body off and rebuilding the steam valve come from the US retailer 1st-line, whose photos mostly show the older Dream. Sizes and version changes come from Ascaso's 2019 parts diagram and from Espresso Parts, Ascaso's US partner, read from saved copies. Gasket and shower screen steps are general practice; no Dream PID write-up was found. Owner reports from Home-Barista were seen as search summaries only. Reddit, UK forums and video transcripts could not be reached. Nothing here was checked on a machine.

Not settled, and flagged where they appear: the gasket for the 2021 bell (I1600) and its size; the shower sprayer's drive; the body screws' size and count; the Phillips size; whether the knurled wheel left of the group is the OPV, and the blade width; the steam knob grub screw and valve nut sizes; the 3 mm key and 13 mm spanner, which follow from the standards; the wand tube (10 mm on Ascaso's site, 12 mm at a retailer); the weight (10 kg on the site, 7 kg in the manual); and whether the power lead is fixed or plugs in.

The inside of the model follows the 2019 diagram, the newest found; the front panel follows 2024 photos of the current machine. Overall size is Ascaso's: 245 wide without the knob, 345 high without the cup rail, 280 deep at the head.
