The water you use

The manual recommends water with a low mineral content: it affects the taste and helps avoid future faults. Ascaso sells optional anti-limescale filters for the tank.

No hardness figure and no filter part number were found. The UK retailer Jurang includes a water filter with the machine.

Clean the tank

The manual's steps.

1. Take the tank out from the side of the machine.
2. Clean the inside with water.
3. If you prefer, wash it in the top of the dishwasher and rinse well.
4. Refit it, fill it, and check that the intake tube is in the water.
