Backflush with cleaner (retailer practice)

Bezzera's manual does not give this job. The method below is someone else's, named on each step. Whole Latte Love says BZ-group machines with a 3-way valve can be backflushed, with water daily and with cleaner monthly. Its article was not readable in full, so these are the usual steps, not its exact ones.

1. Fit the blind filter in the portafilter.
2. Add espresso-machine cleaner, the amount its pack gives.
3. Lock the portafilter in.
4. Switch the coffee switch on and off several times.
5. Take the portafilter out and rinse the blind filter.
6. Repeat with plain water until it runs clear.
