The daily clean and blind-filter wash

The manual's daily cleaning, done when the machine is cold or cooling (it suggests gloves).

1. Clean the portafilter and filters after each use.
2. Brush the group gasket with the brush supplied.
3. Fit the blind filter (supplied) in the portafilter and lock it into the group.
4. Switch the coffee switch on and off a few times, as the manual says, to wash the group.
5. Empty and wash the drip tray and the cup grid.
6. Wipe the body with a damp cloth and dry it.

Change the boiler water each day

The manual's safety section says to change the water in the boiler and pipes at every daily start-up. It does not say how, or how much.

Our reading, not Bezzera's: the hot-water nozzle draws from the boiler, and the boiler refills from the tank by itself, so drawing hot water after heat-up replaces some of it. Bezzera gives no amount.
