The two joystick taps
Bezzera's manual says: if the machine is malfunctioning, do not try to repair it yourself; call technical assistance. Every BZ10 carries an anti-tamper seal that cannot survive opening the case, and Bezzera grants no warranty on a machine whose seal is removed or damaged (12 months from the invoice). Treat this as technician work.
Each lever works a shaft through PTFE graphite packing (5494004) onto a seat gasket (5496042) in the tap body, with a spring that returns it to the centre. From the parts, our reading: a wand that drips with the lever at rest points to the seat gasket; water weeping at the lever points to the packing.
Whole Latte Love has a support article and a video on these taps and the wand nut gasket, but neither could be read, so no method or spanner sizes are given.
