Lamps and gauge
What the lamps and gauge tell you
The BZ10 has no display and no menu. It talks to you through two lamps and one gauge.
- Green lamp: switched on.
- Orange lamp (the manual's "yellow light"): lit means working normally; off means not enough water in the tank.
- Upper scale, boiler: the manual's working range is 1 to 1.2 bar. Below 0.8 bar the coffee comes out too cold; above 1.3 bar, too hot.
- Lower scale, pump: the brew pressure while the pump runs. It reads 0 when the pump is stopped.
The white dial has red marks at about 2 bar and 12 bar. The black dial has green and red arcs on both scales instead.
