Shots run slow, with dark crema

The manual's checks: grind too fine, coffee pressed too hard, too much coffee, a blocked basket, or a blocked shower screen. Adjust the grind and dose; clean or replace a blocked basket. For a blocked screen the manual says call a technician. Fast shots are the opposite: grind too coarse, pressed too lightly, or too little coffee.
