Owner signs of a sticking valve: loud buzzing when 1 CUP or 2 CUP is pressed, with no water at the group until it stops (LAI); a lot of water collecting in the drip tray (Aju's Cafe); steam strong at first, then dying down (Caffeine Fix). A failing triac (the board part that drives the valve) can look the same (Home-Barista).
US kit: SP0100757 "Valve Solenoid Kit 120v" (O-rings not included); valve only SP0100759; hose O-ring SP0001672. The 230 V number was not found.

- Pull the spring clips with pliers and lift the 3 hoses. Each has a red O-ring that may stay in the port.
- Cut the cable tie on the left-hand silicone hose.
- Note the wiring, then unplug the spade terminals on each side and the green earth.
- Remove the 2 small screws holding the L-shaped bracket.
- Lift the block off its two hooks and ease it out round the pump.
- Soak the metal parts (never the coils) overnight in descaler and brush them (Aju's Cafe), or fit a new kit.
