After every coffee

The manual's everyday care.

1. Wait a few seconds after the coffee, then take the holder out, turning it right to left.
2. Knock out the grounds, rinse the filter and press the perforated insert to check it is seated.
3. Check the single hole on the back of the filter is clear.
4. Wipe the machine with a soft damp cloth. No solvents, abrasives, alcohol or metal tools.
5. Empty the drip tray before the red float shows through the plate.
6. Dry the space under the tank now and then with a clean sponge: water there is normal.

After milk, take the frother apart and rinse it: the manual says after every use (frother clean).

Hot water from the frother

The manual's hot water.

1. Put a container under the frother.
2. Wait until the 1-cup and 2-cup lights are steady.
3. Turn the steam dial open.
4. Turn it back to ○ to stop, within 60 seconds.
