Before a long stop

The manual's steps for a long stop.

1. Do a group clean and leave the portafilter out of the group.
2. With the machine hot, switch it off. The green lamp goes out.
3. Put a large container under the hot-water wand.
4. Open the hot-water lever. The boiler pressure pushes the water out.
5. Close the lever when it is empty.
6. On mains water, close the shut-off valve and disconnect the supply.

The manual also says to remove water through the brew group. Store it only with the boiler completely empty, never below 0 °C, and move it upright only. To bring it back, start at first start-up.
