Dial in by taste

Dial it in: grind, temperature, pre-infusion

Keep 18 g in and 36 g out, and change one thing at a time.

1. Under 25 seconds, thin or sour: grind finer.
2. Over 30 seconds, harsh or bitter: grind coarser.
3. Press the rotary dial twice quickly: "Brew Temperature" shows.
4. Right time but sour: raise it by 1 °C; bitter: lower it. It ships at 92 °C.
5. For light roasts that channel, turn on "Preinfusion". On the tank, ECM recommends active pre-infusion, for example 4 s active and 6 s passive.
