Pump and valves
The rotary pump and its valves
ECM's manual says any repair or change of components must be carried out by an authorised specialist dealer, using only original spare parts; otherwise ECM accepts no liability. Treat this as dealer work.
- Pump and motor: rotary pump head P3025 (50 l/h) on a 120 W motor (P3026; US1016 at 110 V), with a capacitor (5 µF at 230 V, 25 µF at 110 V). Clive removes the motor on the original Synchronika with 3 and 5 mm Allen keys, a 13 mm spanner and a #2 Phillips, keeping the brass coupling between pump and motor.
- Expansion valve: P2567, 14 bar, a sealed valve replaced whole. Clive holds the tee with a 10 mm spanner and unscrews the valve with a 14 mm, with PTFE tape.
- Fill valve: a 2-way solenoid (C199900275) in the pre-assembled valve block (A10001). Clive links repeated 60-second fill time-outs to a dirty fill solenoid.
