The screen is dark but the green light is on
Not a fault. The manual: after the Eco time (factory 30 minutes) the machine goes to standby, with the display dark and the green lamp lit. Press the decoder or move the brew lever to wake it, then let it reheat.
Lengthen or turn off Eco in the menu, or use the timer, which ignores Eco.
