Water under the machine
Empty the drip tray before it is full, the manual says. Then, from owners and Clive Coffee:
- Drips while heating, stops when hot: the anti-vacuum valve venting until it seals. Normal.
- Pours from a valve on the steam boiler: the anti-vacuum valve or safety valve, which share an outlet, sticking or weak.
- From the expansion valve, or the group during a backflush: Clive links this to mains pressure that is too high, or a failed valve.
- Under the left side: one owner of an original Synchronika found a loose coffee-boiler drain plug.
