What the Classic needs
Routine care needs a blind filter, which Gaggia does not supply, a brush, detergent, descaler, a jug and cloths.
Opening the machine needs the hand tools below. Only the 4 mm and 5 mm hex keys and the 14 mm spanner are stated by Gaggia, and only in the service manual for the 2019 machine. Every other size comes from a retailer or an owner and is marked: check the fit before you turn. See fasteners.
