What Gaggia covers, and what it does not

Gaggia's manual gives two intervals: backflush monthly and descale every 2 months. Its safety booklet says repairs are only for a service centre authorised by Gaggia, and forbids modifications. So every job in this section is outside the manual.

The methods come from the 2019 Classic service manual, written for the aluminium-boiler machine, and from the retailer Whole Latte Love, who says that manual and its own videos serve the Evo and the E24 as well. No service manual for the E24 itself was found.

One thing differs: on the Evo and E24 the polished collar round the group is also the mounting plate for the boiler and pump. Pictures of the 2019 machine may not match yours exactly.
