Refresh the boiler water

Drain and refill the steam boiler

La Marzocco's own tip for the Micra and Mini: this changes the water in the 1.6 litre steam boiler.

Let the machine heat fully, with the steam gauge up to pressure.
Turn the main switch off.
Put a heat-proof container under the hot-water spout, big enough for up to 1.6 litres, or be ready to empty it.
Open the left knob and let it run until nothing comes out.
Close the knob and refill the tank.
Switch on: the machine refills the boiler by itself.
