Do not descale it: why

The manual has no descaling method. La Marzocco's answer to scale is the water: keep it within its table and the machine should not need descaling. The next screen tests it.

Test the water against the table

The manual asks you to test with La Marzocco's water test kit (6 measuring strips) before and after any treatment, then use its online Water Calculator.

1. Take a glass of the water you fill the tank with.
2. Test it with the kit's strips or a TDS meter, as the kit says.
3. Compare each reading with the table below. If any is outside it, change the water or fit a filter (water and filters) and test the treated water again.
