Steps marked "the manual" are from La Marzocco's Linea Micra operating manual MAN.31.05.1, V1.1 (March 2023), checked against V1.0. It covers start-up, brewing, steam, hot water, the backflush and screen soak under daily cleaning, the water table, brew pressure adjustment and the lights. It has no descaling and sends every repair to La Marzocco or an authorised centre. La Marzocco's own web pages add the gasket how-to, the steam boiler drain, the app backflush and the reservoir guide. Everything else is marked where it appears as coming from the parts catalogue, a named retailer or an owner (home-barista.com). Nothing here was checked on a machine.
Not settled, and flagged where they appear: the first fill time (30 to 40 seconds or about 10); how often to backflush and soak; the pump screw's drive and any lock nut; the panel screw counts and the cross-head size; the shower screw's length; the gasket's diameters; the steam tip's number and holes; the valve rebuild method; the safety thermostat reset; the coffee boiler and tank volumes; and the EU warranty. La Marzocco's screen and gasket video has no captions and was not read. Clive Coffee and Reddit could not be opened.
The casing is measured from the three true orthographic views in La Marzocco's parts catalogue (page 4), which agree with the official 290 × 472 × 338 mm to within 0.6%.
