The blue light is flashing

The manual: blue flashing 1 second on, 1 off means low water or no tank. The machine will not brew until it is fixed.

Low water: refill the tank.
Tank not home: slide it right back onto the two contacts at the back, and reseat the drain box on its magnets.
Water too soft: distilled or reverse-osmosis water without minerals reads as no water (La Marzocco UK).
