What water to use

The manual: if your water does not meet the table, fit "a specific filtration device". La Marzocco names no in-tank filter of its own for the Micra. What its regional pages suggest:

• UK: bottled or filtered water; Waitrose Essential and Acqua Panna named; "something like the BWT filter"; avoid softening jugs such as ZeroWater.
• US: Crystal Geyser or Poland Spring, or reverse-osmosis or distilled water with Third Wave Water's "Espresso Machine Profile" minerals added.
• Australia: reverse osmosis is often needed rather than a simple carbon filter.

Test again after any treatment: the water table.
