Water under the machine

Unplug before you look. An owner's way to find it: run the machine with the grate off and watch where the water comes from.

The drain box: not seated, or overfull.
The brew valve: a spurt into the tray after each shot is normal.
The expansion valve: a drip during heat-up is normal; all the time is not.
The tank hose: one owner's leak came from an intake hose left too long after a service.
