Clean the holder, basket and screen

The manual's cleaning section.

1. Unplug the machine and let it cool.
2. Wash the holder and the basket in warm water with a neutral detergent.
3. Clean the shower screen in the group the same way, to remove coffee and prevent scale.
4. Wipe the outside, the drip tray and the drain well in the base with a damp cloth, then dry them.
5. Refit the grid with its notch towards the body of the machine.

No backflush. A lever group cannot be backflushed, so there is no blind-filter clean and no weekly soak. The 2020 manual warned "do not use the blind filter for cleaning the group head"; the 2024 edition drops the line but still gives no backflush.
