Steps marked "the manual" are from La Pavoni's instruction manual for the Europiccola, Professional and Stradivari, code 2850135, 2024 edition, checked against the 2020 edition. It covers first start-up with a rinse, heating up and venting, coffee, steam, filling the boiler, cleaning and a troubleshooting table. It reserves all servicing beyond normal cleaning and maintenance for an authorised service centre; the one inside job it gives the owner is the thermostat reset. It says to descale but gives no method. Its 2024 rinse says "clockwise" to open the steam knob, against every other line in the manual; this guide follows anticlockwise. Part numbers and fastener threads are from La Pavoni's 2025 parts list. Everything else is marked as coming from a named retailer or an owner. Nothing here was checked on a machine.

Not settled, and flagged where they appear: the safety valve's position, spanner size (16 or 17 mm) and opening pressure; the pressurestat's factory setting and which way its adjuster turns; the group gasket and piston seal sizes; the group bolt length on some machines; every nut size on the steam valve and sight glass; the base-plug and security-pin details; the element's wattage (950 or 1000 W); and any descaling method. Reddit and YouTube transcripts could not be read, so owner evidence is mostly from Home-Barista.

The casing is measured from La Pavoni's cover drawing, an exact projection scaled on the 60 mm group: base 194 by 295 mm, 317 mm to the cap top. Everything inside the base is placed by eye.
