Brew pressure
What the gauge should read
Lelit's manual says the needle should sit in the green zone while coffee is being made, at 8 to 10 bar. If the gauge does not reach the green zone with the blind filter fitted, it says to contact your reseller for a check.
Owners report about 10 bar against the blind filter from the factory on this version, and 11 to 11.5 bar on the first version. Most reset it to 9 to 9.5.
Brew pressure: what is known
On this version the adjustable overpressure valve (MC931) sits at the top of the machine, above the coffee boiler. Owners describe it as adjusted by hand. On earlier versions the valve is a different part, low down near the pump.
Lelit publishes no adjustment procedure and neither does any retailer I could check, so this guide does not give steps. One owner reports that turning it clockwise lowers the pressure. Nobody else confirms that, and it is the opposite of most spring valves. If you do it yourself, fit the blind filter, make small changes and watch the gauge.
The same owner found the return hose twists with the valve and can kink or leak. Pull the hose off, untwist it, refit it and secure it with a cable tie.
