Dial in by taste

Dial it in: grind, temperature, soak

Keep 18 g in and 36 g out, and change one thing at a time. The settings are in the display menu.

Under 25 seconds, thin or sour: grind finer.
Over 30 seconds, harsh or bitter: grind coarser.
Right time but sour: raise setting 1, the coffee boiler, by 1 °C; bitter: lower it. It ships at 95 °C.
Uneven or spurting shots: try a longer soak in settings 5 and 6 (button 1 ships at 3 s, button 2 at 6 s).
Keep the same dose and yield while you taste the change.
