First shot spikes

The first shot spikes, then settles

On some early machines of this version, the first shot after standing reads about 11 bar and then falls, and later shots read 9. Owners put it down to the overpressure valve's plunger sticking. That is an owner consensus, not a statement from Lelit, and no recall was found.

A steady 10 bar or more on every shot is a different thing: the factory setting. See brew pressure.
