Hot-water outlet drips or is dry
The hot-water outlet drips, or gives nothing
Nothing comes out.
- Check for E on the display. Hot water is pushed out by steam pressure, so the steam boiler must be on.
- The manual's check: take off the outlet's spray tip, test without it, clean it and refit it.
- If the pump runs but you hear no valve click, the hot-water valve is not opening. One owner had this on a new machine and returned it.
It drips all the time. Owners and a retailer put this down to debris on the hot-water valve's seat: see the solenoid valves. Lelit's manual says to have the machine descaled through your reseller.
