Pump and solenoid valves
The pump: what is known
This version has a Lelit-branded quiet vibration pump on rubber mounts. Earlier versions have a standard one. There is no replacement interval; it runs until it fails.
No owner report of a pump failing on this machine was found, and no written method for changing it. The diagram to hand is the 120 V edition and lists the pump as kit 4000040. The 230 V kit number is not known: ask a dealer and quote your model and voltage.
The pump's position in this model is a schematic.
The solenoid valves
Four electric valves switch the water. The group's 3-way valve sits behind the coffee boiler and is kept clean by the weekly backflush. A 2-way valve lets steam pressure do the pre-infusion. A second 2-way valve, which the diagram draws but does not describe, is the hot-water valve by elimination. A fourth fills the steam boiler and is not in the diagram at all.
A valve that drips or sticks usually has debris on its seat. A retailer, Clive Coffee, publishes cleaning guides for the hot-water and fill valves, done cold and unplugged. Clean before you replace. Only the group valve is modelled here.
Coils are made for one voltage, so order by your machine's voltage.
