Tank sensors
Free the tank float
A magnet float rides in a channel on the left side of the tank, and a sensor in the machine reads it. A separate small switch tells the machine the tank is fitted.
- Lift the tank out and check which way round it was. The float must be on the left, the same side as the main switch.
- Empty the tank and turn it upside down to free a stuck float.
- Refill it and push it fully home.
If the warning never comes and the pump runs dry, owners found the float stuck up, the intake hose slightly too short, or the sensor shifted.
