Water inside or under the machine
Water inside the case or under the machine
Unplug before you look. Where the water is tells you the cause:
- A slow drip at an elbow as it heats, white or green crust on a boiler top, or water round the steam wand. A push-fit tube is not sealing: reseat it.
- Water between the group and the case, with the top fittings dry. The coffee boiler seal.
- Water under the tank and a hot back-left corner. The level probe nut.
- Steam or water around the drip tray. The anti-vacuum valve venting.
No reports of the frame or body rusting were found. Corrosion was always local to a leaking fitting.
