Shiny metal flakes in the water are plating from the brew group. Owners and technicians report it as harmless, and it stops. Keep flushing fresh water.

Flow that is weaker than before means a piece of scale has lodged in the three-way valve, the jet into the group or the expansion valve. More descaler will not move it. Stop using the machine and have it cleared.
