Before a long break

  1. Backflush the group so no coffee oil is left to go rancid.
  2. Run about 100 ml of water through the group and 100 ml through the steam wand.
  3. Leave the portafilter out of the group so the gasket is not compressed.
  4. Empty and dry the tank and the drip tray.
