Dial it in by taste

Keep 18 g in and 36 g out, and change one thing at a time.

1. Under 25 seconds, thin or sour: grind finer.
2. Over 30 seconds, harsh or bitter: grind coarser.
3. Right time but still sour: raise t1 by 1 °C in the display menu.
4. Right time but bitter: lower t1 by 1 °C.
5. Keep the same dose and yield while you taste the change.

Profitec ships t1 at 93 °C. Lighter roasts often want a degree or two more, dark roasts a degree or two less.
