What is on the outside

Three buttons, three lamps. From the top: the coffee button with an orange lamp for coffee, the steam button with an orange lamp that lights while the boiler heats, and on/off with a green lamp.

The gauge shows pump pressure. The display shows boiler temperature and is where you change settings.

What is on the inside

Water leaves the tank through a valve in its base, and the pump pushes it up to the boiler. The expansion valve caps the pressure and sends the excess back to the tank.

The boiler sits directly on the brew group, which is why the machine heats quickly. The three-way valve releases pressure into the drip tray when you stop a shot.
