Pump, three-way valve and tubes

All three are dealer work under the manual. Both the pump and the valve are mains voltage parts.

The vibration pump gets louder and weaker with age. Retailers put its life at 4 to 6 years. The signs are a change in pitch, needing a much coarser grind, and taking far longer than 10 seconds to reach 9 bar on the blind basket. The three-way valve clogs with scale or coffee and can usually be cleaned. The silicone tubes harden over time.
