It rattles or buzzes

The pump vibrates and the case is folded sheet steel, so some buzz during a shot is normal. Seat the tank lid squarely, push the drip tray fully home and move any cup that is ringing.

A sudden, harsh, tractor-like rattle is different. One owner traced it to a broken piece of the plastic pump bracket loose inside the case. That needs the covers off.
