Steam valve and wand seals
Steam valve and wand seals
Two PTFE seals do the work here. The valve gasket (P6015) closes the steam off; when it wears, the wand drips with the valve shut. The ball-socket disc (P6010) lets the wand swivel; when it wears, steam leaks at the joint.
For the joint, this follows the published method for other Profitec wands; there is none for the GO itself.
- Undo the wand nut with a cloth over it.
- Keep the spring and note which way up it sits.
- Pick out the old seal and fit the new one.
- Start the nut by hand. Do not overtighten.
