Steam wand drips
The steam wand drips
A few drops right after steaming, or while the machine warms up, are normal.
A wand that keeps dripping with the valve shut has a worn or crushed valve seal. The usual cause is closing the valve too hard. A leak at the nut where the wand swivels is the ball-joint seal.
