Water inside or under the machine

Unplug first. Then work through the three usual places:

1. Under the tank. A cracked tank socket or a flattened seal. See the valve under the tank.
2. Between the boiler and the group. The six clamp screws have relaxed or the boiler gasket has failed. See boiler seals.
3. At the back of the drip tray. The drain tube from the three-way valve has come off, or its port is blocked with coffee.
