Dial in by taste

Dial it in: grind, then temperature

Keep 18 g in and 36 g out. The importer: to change the taste, change the grind first.

  1. Under 25 seconds, thin or sour: grind finer.
  2. Over 30 seconds, harsh or bitter: grind coarser.
  3. For temperature, press ▼ (PrG shows), then ▲ for the set point.
  4. Sour at the right time: go up; bitter: go down. The importer recommends 195 to 205 °F (90 to 96 °C).
  5. Let the group settle for a few minutes before you taste again.
