PID, probe and safety thermostats
Quick Mill publishes no service manual and says warranty and support come directly from the authorised retailer. The importer's manual stops at the two reset buttons under the top cover. Anything further inside is dealer or technician work; the notes below say whose they are.
- PID: the Evo's controller with timer is sold as ASSPID04005-CR (Espresso Lane) or ASSPID0970V1-CR (Chris' Coffee). It switches the element through a solid-state relay.
- Probe: SO04005, in the boiler.
- Safety thermostats: 165 °C on the left side of the boiler (TE07100) and 220 °C on the steam unit (TE04005R), both reset by hand: the reset buttons.
- Not fitted: no boiler level probe, no vacuum valve and no tank sensor, so nothing stops the pump if the tank runs dry. Watch the level.
