Steps marked "the importer's manual" or "the importer" are from the "Quick Mill Silvano Evo Instruction Manual" written by Chris' Coffee, Quick Mill's North American importer (2022 update; the June 2015 revision was also read). It is not a Quick Mill document. It covers first start-up, the PID, steaming, backflushing, the gasket and screen, brew pressure, the reset buttons and basic troubleshooting, and declines to describe descaling. Quick Mill's own documents are the "ESPLOSO 04005" exploded view and parts list of 22 November 2010, drawn for the original Silvano (US build), and the Silvano Evo datasheet. Everything else is marked as coming from a named retailer (Chris' Coffee, Majesty Coffee, Espresso Lane), the Dutch importer Euroquick, or owners (home-barista.com), and as the original Silvano where it is. Nothing here was checked on a machine.
Not settled, and flagged where they appear: which way the pressure screw turns (the importer's 2015 and 2022 manuals disagree); the Phillips size of the top-cover screws; the pressure screw's blade width; gasket 8 or 8.5 mm; steam tip holes and thread; element wattage; one pump or two on 2025 to 2026 machines; tank 1.8 or 2 litres; and any draining or storage method.
No dimensioned drawing exists. Sizes are Quick Mill's (265 × 285 × 380 mm body; 402 mm over the cup rail), with positions measured from studio photographs.
