Set the brew temperature

The importer's method. The display is in °F on US machines and °C on EU ones.

  1. With the machine on, press and release ▼: the display shows PrG.
  2. Press ▲ to show the set point.
  3. Change it with the arrows.
  4. Leave it: the display goes back to the temperature by itself after a few seconds.

The factory setting is 200 °F (about 93 °C). The importer recommends 195 to 205 °F (90 to 96 °C).

Advanced settings and the shot timer

The importer's method. Use it to switch between °F and °C.

  1. Switch the machine off.
  2. Hold both arrows and switch on; let go when the display shows F.03.
  3. Press ▲ to change the setting, wait for the display to revert, then press ▼ for the next one.
  4. Switch off and on again to save.

Shot timer: it counts while the brew switch is on and holds the final time for 5 seconds. One owner reported 2018 Evos without a timer; the original Silvano had none.
