Backflush with water, every day

The manual: backflush the group every day. Its method is a little different from other machines.

1. Take the basket out of the portafilter and fit the blind filter (supplied).
2. Raise the lever, so water runs from the group.
3. While it runs, lock the portafilter in, rocking it back and forth.
4. Lower the lever, take the portafilter out and empty the blind filter.
5. Repeat until the water runs clear.
6. Brush round the group seal. Seattle Coffee Gear brushes it daily.
