Pressure drops during the shot, or builds slowly

Rocket gives no figure for the brew gauge. Owner reports from the older Giotto Type V:

• Peaks near 8 bar, falls to 2 to 4 bar, pump goes quiet: a failing vibration pump.
• Takes 30 seconds to reach 9 bar: low flow. Check the tank is pressed down, then the inlet filter and hoses.
