Probes, sensors and the safety thermostat
Rocket's manual says not to attempt repairs yourself: contact an authorised, qualified technician, and any repair must be done by Rocket or an authorised dealer using only original parts. Rocket does not cover damage from unauthorised changes or non-original parts. Treat this as dealer work.
- Boiler probe (NTC, A119905081): a fault shows A03, red × 4.
- Group heater (ST19997434 at 230 V) and group probe (A199909593): faults show A04 and A05.
- Level probe (C199900839): owners of older Giottos cleaned it when the boiler overfilled.
- Tank sensor ("level control system", R839907128): raises the magenta alarm.
- Safety thermostat (C199901550; the older Giotto's list gives the same number as 135 °C).
The dealer menu can change how sensitive the boiler and tank sensors are, for very soft water.
