The vibration pump and its valves

Rocket's manual says not to attempt repairs yourself: contact an authorised, qualified technician, and any repair must be done by Rocket or an authorised dealer using only original parts. Rocket does not cover damage from unauthorised changes or non-original parts. Treat this as dealer work.

• Pump: a vibration pump, C199900280 (230 V) or C199900281 (115 V), on two rubber supports. Owners and Whole Latte Love treat it as an Ulka EX5 type.
• Fill valve: a two-way solenoid (C190004066 / C190004067) that opens when the level probe asks for water. If it does not close, the boiler overfills.
• Expansion valves: 9 bar (A299905143) and 11.5 bar (C229900911), with a non-return valve.

An older-Giotto owner's failing pump peaked at 8 bar, then fell to 2 to 4 bar and went quiet.
